Learn More About Our New Campaign (PAUSE)

Pause. Make Space for God. Life is full. At times, the hectic pace of life rules the day. We find ourselves caught up in daily chores, work, news reports, and the ups and downs of friends and family. We invite you to pause, to make space--in this moment, in your week, in your life--for God. You are invited to join us on a seven week journey to pause and make space for God. We will study the Bible, reflect on God’s message for us, find the support of others and seek to increase the peace and progress that come from walking with God.

The (Secrets) Of Heavenly Life!

This month, Light for Life New Church once again embarks on its study of the book "Secrets of Heaven" by Emanuel Swedenborg. From the editor's notes on the back cover of the New Century Edition, we read: "The work offers a detailed examination of Genesis and Exodus, providing a new way to understand the entire Bible...disclosing layer upon layer of inner meaning - all without undermining the power and import of the literal Word." Come join us Tuesdays at 7 pm for a small group meeting at Emerald Heights in Redmond - (click "contact us" and e-mail for directions). We will be reviewing up through Genesis 5 on the Noah story.

WE HAVE BOOK CARTS NOW, thanks to book center coordinator Diane Geanuleas! (We will also be starting a lending library, for those new to New Church theology to "browse before you purchase"). You can find our first table in the lobby, right outside the sanctuary. The book carts are then on rollers inside the banquet hall.
