Becoming a Member
Anyone is invited to participate in the worship and the life of the Light for Life New Church by getting involved with one of our ministries (uses). Adults are invited to become members of Light for Life New Church. Membership represents a fuller commitment to the uses of the Church and allows you to vote on important church matters at church meetings.
How to Join
If you are already a member of our parent organization, the General Church of the New Jerusalem (General Church), and are residing in the Puget Sound area, you may become a member of Light for Life New Church on request. Others living in the Puget Sound area who have attained the age of 18 and have been baptized may become members of Light for Life New Church after completing a newcomers class (or satisfying the Pastor that such a class is unnecessary). Members will be asked to sign the Membership Roll to formalize their membership.
Please contact the Pastor if you are interested in becoming a member. Members of Light for Life New Church who have not previously done so are also invited to join the General Church so that they can take part in the worldwide work of the New Church.
